A Bank Holiday Monday

Today me and Kath decided we would go for a walk around Ilam Hall and Dovedale, as they are only 5 minuts up the road from my house. We arrived at around 9:15AM and there was hardly anyone in site, except for the very keen walkers who had started arriving. The sun was out and it was a ery warm day, so yet another chance for me to get the new camera out and try out my ultra-wide angle lens. Below you will see a selection of the shots from that day. My only dissapointment being the blown out skies on a few of them, if I had thought about things a little better I could have tried exposure braketing and then merging in Photoshop afterward, as it was though I did not have my tripod with me, and so did the best I could. I feel the use of a ND Graduated filter would have worked wonders with the images, but always in hignsight.
