Catch Up

It’s been a little while since I posted anything here, but as many of you know I have been busy with other things. And so haven’t had the chance to get out with the camera much. Last weekend however I decided to go and try out my ND filters to see what sort of dynamic range I could now achieve. Anyone who owns a DSLR knows that the dynamic range on Digital SLR’s is more limited than conventional SLR’s. I have been a little miffed before with images where the sky has been blown out in the effort to correctly expose the foreground. Most of the time it is possible to bracket the shot or to correct it in Photoshop afterwards. But I like to try and achieve the best image possible straight from the camera. So with my Cokin-P System managed to get a few ‘testing’ shots. Which is proof of concept and I’m happy to keep the system always in my camera bag.
The other images shown here were a few sample creative shots from today, nothing special, just testing some ideas. Sorry for the short entry!
